EDI Viewer - AC2 Rollforward / Batch Amendments

EDI Viewer can create AC2 forms for a production year by using the data from the previous year. The steps are:

1. choose AC Reports from the toolbar or from the Allowable Costs menu
2. click on the FCC Status tab
3. below the FCC Status tab you will see Choose Form. Click the AC2 radio button, choose the production year you want to create AC2s for, and then Retrieve from the toolbar to see data.
4. Any FCC row with a blank Date Prepared does not have an AC2 for this production year and an AC2 can be created. If there is a Date Prepared date, then an AC2 already exists and another AC2 will not be created.
5. highlite which FCCs you want to be create AC2 forms for.
   
   To highlite FCCs, you use basic Windows functionality which is to click on the row to highlite it, Shift-mouse click to highlite a range of rows, or Ctrl-mouse click to highlite individual rows.

Once you have the FCCs highlited, click the Click for Batch Processing button and you will see the AC Forms Batch Process window below.

Look at the Rollforward AC2's section in the middle of this window and check Create AC2 Forms.
You also have 3 additional options to choose. They are:

• Set Form Completed: set the Complete flag for all new AC2 forms to Yes if you want.
• Include CPAF: if Yes, this will copy the CPAF data from the previous years' AC2. All volumes will be setup to 0.
• Include Facility Allocations: if Yes, this will copy the CCA and OpCost Facility Allocation data from the previous years' AC2.

Click Start to create AC2 forms.
When this process has finished, you will see a message. Click the Close button.

If you click the Retrieve button, you should now see today's date in the Date Prepared column on the AC2 FCC Status report for all FCCs you highlited.

EDI Viewer can also use this process to create batch AC2 amendments:

Follow the same steps as above to highlite FCC's with a date prepared. If there is no Date Prepared, and AC2 Amendment will not be created.

Once you have the FCCs highlited, click the Click for Batch Processing button and you will see the AC Forms Batch Process window below.

Look at the Create AC2 Amendment Forms section in the middle of this window and check Create AC2 Amendments.
You also have several additional options:

• Filling in the Amendment Reason will include that reason on each AC2 created through this batch process.
• Include boxes: if Yes, this will copy the various sections from the previous AC2.

Click Start to create AC2 forms.
When this process has finished, you will see a message. Click the Close button.
You can access the created AC2 Amendments through the FCC Explorer.

EDI Viewer can also use this process to Refresh AC2 CCA Allocations:

In some situations, when uploading CCA throughout the year, you may come across situations where a Change AC1 is filed and the Current CCA Allocations on your AC2 form are no longer correct. In this scenario, you will want to use the Refresh AC2 CCA Allocations tool.

Follow the same steps as above to highlite FCC's with a date prepared. If there is no Date Prepared, and AC2 Amendment will not be created.

Once you have the FCCs highlited, click the Click for Batch Processing button and you will see the AC Forms Batch Process window below.

Click the check-box in the Refresh AC2 CCA WI% Allocations section. You also have the option to refresh OpCost wI% Allocations:

Click Start to create AC2 forms.
When this process has finished, you will see a message. Click the Close button.
