EDI Viewer - BC Monthly Process

This is the typical monthly process you would follow once you have this BC module setup.

1. Import all BC invoice files for this month using the Import BC Crown Files menu item. Remember you may have more than 1 invoice file.
   
   
2. Import all BC submission files for this month using the Import BC Crown Files menu item.
   Submission files are ONLY NEEDED if you want to create estimates (accruals) or run reports comparing invoice actuals to submitted data.
   
   
3. Open the BC Reports menu item and run any reports you want to analyze the invoice data.

If you are creating a GL Upload file:

1. Open the Cost Center Maintenance window, choose a Company, and click Retrieve. This will add any new UWI's into the gas cost center table and you will need to enter a cost center for all UWI's with a blank cost center or these UWI's won't be included in the GL Upload file.
2. Open the Oil Cost Center Maintenance window, choose a Company, and click Retrieve. This will add any new UWI's into the oil cost center table and you will need to enter a cost center for all UWI's with a blank cost center or these UWI's won't be included in the GL Upload file.
3. Open the GL Accounts Maintenance window and add or check that you have GL accounts for all account types you want to upload.
4. Open the GL Upload window and create your upload file.

If you are creating an Estimate / Accrual:

1. Make sure you have imported the BC Submission files for the month you want to create an estimate for.
2. Open the Producer Prices window and enter producer prices and posted minimum prices for the company and production month you are creating an estimate for.
3. Open the Producer PCOS Rate window and enter PCOS rates for the company and production month you are creating an estimate for.
4. Open the Oil Average Net Value by Facility window and enter Facility Average Net Values for the company and production month and you are creating an estimate for.
5. Open the Import Estimate Data window, choose to corresponding tab for gas/oil and update the data (in white boxes) that is needed to create the estimate.
6. Open the GL Upload window and create your estimate.
