EDI Viewer - BC Oil Cost Center Maintenance

The BC Oil Cost Center Maintenance window is used to create a cross reference to your financial system. The fields on the window may vary depending on which financial system you are using. All cost centers are linked to a company you have defined.

To see the wells and cost centers on this window, select a Company at the top left of the window, specify which well category you want to view (Non-PE or PE), and click the Retrieve button on the toolbar.

The WA Number column will be populated for wells linked to a WA Number in the Oil Master File Maintenance window.

   
To find a UWI or Cost Center:
  • enter the full or partial uwi or cost center into the UWI at the top of the window and click the Find button. If the UWI is found, the row will be highlited. If the UWI is not found, a message will be displayed.
  • Clicking the Find button again will find the next UWI starting from the row you are on.
  • To start the find from the first row, you must scroll to row 1 and click on row 1 so the red arrow to the left of the row points to row 1.
  

 

  

To enter or update Cost Center data:

  • enter or change the cost center and any other data you may need in the editable fields (which are usually white).
  • click the Save button the on toolbar when you are done to save your changes.

You cannot add or delete rows here. These are UWI's that are linked to invoices you have imported. Any time you import an invoice with new UWI's, they will automatically show up on this window.

You may see the same UWI on this window more than once. That is because the plant or facility may be different. If this is the case, these are all valid UWI's.

To Sort, click on the headings. To sort by UWI, click on the UWI heading and the wells will be sorted by UWI in ascending order. Clicking on the UWI again will sort the wells in descending order. This can be done for any column by clicking on the heading.

Clicking on the Sort toolbar button gives you the option to sort by multiple columns at once.

 
To Print, click the Print toolbar button or choose Print from the File menu.
