EDI Viewer - Valid Streams


The Valid Streams window is used to enter valid streams that are used to validate all streams on the Crown Royalty Invoice. Any streams on the invoice that do not match the valid streams are flagged as errors.

To find a stream:
  • enter the full or partial stream id code into the Stream ID Code at the top of the window and click the Find button. If the stream is found, the row will be highlited. If the stream is not found, a message will be displayed.
  • Clicking the Find button again will find the next stream id code starting from the row you are on.
  • To start the find from the first row, you must scroll to row 1 and click on row 1 so the red arrow to the left of the row points to row 1.
 
To add or insert a new row, do the following:
  • Right-click your mouse where you want to add the row to get a popup menu, and then choose add or insert.

Example:

  • To add a stream, right click your mouse under the Stream ID Code heading.
    • Stream ID Types are WI - well, UN - unit, WG - well group, IS - injection scheme, IF - injection facility.
    • If a stream has been terminated, enter the termination date and the validation procedure will flag any data on the invoice for this stream that is after of the termination date.
  • To add a facility that a stream is linked to, right click your mouse under the Facility Effective Date heading.
  • To add a crown interest percent for a stream, right click your mouse under the Crown Interest Effective Date heading.
  • To add a vintage percent for a stream, right click your mouse under the Vintage Percent heading.

To delete a row, click on the row you want to delete and do the following:

  • Right-click your mouse to get a popup menu and choose delete. The row is removed from the screen but is not deleted until you scroll to another row or click the Save toolbar button.

Note: You will not be able to add or delete rows if you are in read only mode.

To Sort, click on the headings. To sort by Stream ID Code, click on the Stream ID Code heading and the streams will be sort by stream id code in ascending order. Clicking on the Stream ID Code heading again will sort the stream id codes in descending order. This can be done for any column by clicking on the heading.  
   
To Print, click the Print toolbar button or choose Print from the File menu.
