Starting EDI Viewer

EDI Viewer

This should be the Icon on your desktop to start EDI Viewer. Double-clicking the icon will present you with the EDI Viewer Logon window so you can connect to the database where the EDI Viewer data is stored.

The EDI Viewer Logon window will connect you to your database which stores the EDI Viewer data.
There are 3 areas to fill in:

• Database: this should default to the database where your EDI Viewer data is stored. If this database is not the database where your EDI Viewer files are stored, choose a different database from the list box.

• User ID: this is your user id to logon to the database. This user id is assigned to you by your IS department.

• Password: this is your password associated with the above User ID. This password is assigned to you by your IS department.

When you have entered the Database, User ID, and Password data, click the OK button to connect to your database. If your connection is successful, the EDI Viewer system will start for you. If your Database, User ID, or Password data is wrong, you will receive an error message.

If you do not want to start the EDI Viewer system, click on the Cancel button and the Logon window will close.
