EDI Viewer - AC1 Ownership

The AC1 Ownership tab is used to edit and enter AC1 ownership for facility cost centers.

The Select an AC1: list box at the top of the window lists the date prepared and type for all AC1 forms for this FCC. Picking a selection from this list box will show you that AC1's ownership. This allows you to see a complete audit trail of AC1 ownership.

Picking an AC1 from the list that is not the most recent AC1, will put that AC1 form into a Read Only status. Since there is a newer AC1, all previous AC1s cannot be editted preserving your audit trail, but still allowing you to view and print them.

To add or insert new AC1 ownership, you can do any one of the following:
  • Right-clck your mouse to get a popup menu and choose add or insert.
  • Press the shortcut keys, CRTL and A (add) or CTRL and I (insert).
  • Click the edit menu at the top of the screen and then choose add or insert.

Note: When adding new AC1 ownership, you must use an effective date that is after the latest effective date for this FCC. Also, you cannot save until total ownership = 100%.

To delete AC1 ownership, click on the row you want to delete and do any one of the following:

  • Right-clck your mouse to get a popup menu and choose delete.
  • Press the shortcut keys, CRTL and D.
  • Click the edit menu at the top of the screen and then choose delete.

Note: If you delete an AC1 ownership record, you will not be able to save until the total ownership = 100%. Also, you will not be able to delete an AC1 if you are in read only mode.

To Print an AC1 form, click the Print toolbar button or choose Print from the File menu.

Columns on the window are:

Effective Date The date the FCC ownership for this Client ID became effective.

You must enter a full date, including the day. Any day can be entered, because the system uses year-month for calculations and only displays the year-month, but entering the day helps to keep the system Year 2000 compatible and allows for future changes.

The date format you have to enter depends on the date format your computer has been set to.

  • An example of year/month/day format would be: 1999/01/10
  • An example of month/day/year format would be: 01/10/1999
  • An example of day/month/year format would be: 10/01/1999
Client ID The client code who has this percent of ownership. This column is not editable and shows up when you pick an owner from the owner name list box.
FCC Owner Name The client name who has this percent of ownership. The clients in this list come from what you have entered in the AC Business Associates window.

From the list box, you can pick owners 2 ways.

  1. Type in the first few letters of the owner name and the list box will scroll to that name if it finds it in the list box. This is the fastest method if you have a large ownership list.
  2. Use the scroll bar to scroll to the owner name you want. The owner names are in alphabetical order so scrolling is easy, but may be slower than method 1 if you have a large ownership list.
% Ownership The percent of this FCC owned by this Client ID.

Percentage values must between 0 and 100 or they will be rejected.
