EDI Viewer - Freehold Mineral Tax Entity Maintenance

The Entity Maintenance window is used to edit and update all entity information such as cost center, lessee information, oil and gas mineral tax percents, percent to pay, appeal indicator, land system references, etc. This window is the key to how this Freehold system works.

Retrieving Entities: Entities can be retrieved by tax year, owner code, or title or a combination of all three. Simply choose a tax year and click the Retrieve button (left side of the Toolbar) or choose any combination of tax year, owner, and title and click Retrieve. The Entity Code box at the top right of this window is used to find an Entity once you have already clicked the Retrieve toolbar button. When you have the entities listed on the left side of this window, the Find button will then scroll through these entities and find the Entity Code you have asked for, if it exists.

Editing Entities: Entity Code Section Any data that can be editted can be tabbed to. Some data cannot be editted, like the Oil Tax and Gas Tax dollars. The Entity code, Entity Name, Title, and Owner Code has most likely been imported from the FMT Invoice and probably should not be edited as your data will now differ from the governments. Product Section The Oil and Gas check boxes must be checked in order to enter Mineral Tax percents. Oil Min Tax % - Enter the percent that will invoiced to the lessees. The Lessor Oil % is the difference between the Oil Min Tax % and 100. e.g. if the Oil Min Tax % is 80% the Lessor Oil % will be 20%. The Oil Tax $ amount is the amount that was imported from the FMT invoice files which can be seen on the Tax Statement tab. Gas Min Tax % - Enter the percent that will invoiced to the lessees. The Lessor Gas % is the difference between the Gas Min Tax % and 100. e.g. if the Gas Min Tax % is 80% the Lessor Oil % will be 20%. The Gas Tax $ amount is the amount that was imported from the FMT invoice files which can be seen on the Tax Statement tab.

To enter Gas - WI Owners, click on the tab Gas - WI Owners.

To enter Oil - WI Owners, Oil - WI Owners.

UV Submission - displays information entered on UV Submission Window

Tax Statement - displays details on government invoice

Comments - document comments at Entity level

To enter Lessor Owners, click on tab Lessor Owners.
